My ministry and life focus is teaching of the Word. Am passionate about helping believers understand who they are in Christ, and opening their eyes to what God has made available for their victorious living through Christ’s finished work. That is why I founded Identite, a ministry which helps believers understand and walk in their true identity, which is, their righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
It’s no wonder that my first book focuses on the Holy Communion, one of the very sacred mysteries of God’s Kingdom that distinguishes us as children of God. The potency of the Holy Communion is that it identifies you with Jesus and gives you access to the Mystery of mysteries of God’s Kingdom!
I am honoured to be the Senior Pastor of a fast-growing congregation, His Purpose Church in South Africa. From our main branch in Randburg, Johannesburg, we have planted a church in Ga-Rankuwa, Pretoria headed by Pastor Hawk Lesutu. The South Africa church is a branch of HPC, founded by Apostle Tony Olukoyede and headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. Based on the anticipated growth in 2020 and beyond, the church ordained three pastors and other leaders in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, confirming that God is focused on Kingdom expansion, no matter what.
In South Africa, the church started as a fellowship in 2008 and launched as a Church in 2010. This was the culmination of my divine yearning to serve God and His people after being ordained as a Pastor in 1996.
Am also the host of the Worship Encounter, a popular interdenominational worship service which brings together Christians to a three-hour service on a quarterly basis. Great testimonies of healing, liberation and breakthroughs follow the worship services.
We also hold annual outreach services which take the good news of Jesus to the homeless in Randburg, surrounding suburbs and informal settlements. Through these outreach services many have been liberated from drug addiction, bitterness and unforgiveness and surrendered their lives to Christ. Some have reconciled with their families and are gainfully employed.
Our messages have been featured on radio and television, appearing on TBN Africa and Redemption Television Ministry (RTM).
During the COVID-19 lockdown period, we intensified our online outreach. I hold several online services on Facebook Live. Many people are blessed by our early morning 30-minute prayers, Dictating Your Day, which run from 3:00 to 3:30 am on weekdays.
I am married to a virtuous woman, Pastor Lola Salako, an accountant who has previously worked in the banking industry. Together, we have two beautiful daughters, Charis and Tosin Susan.
